About Me

I have been following a plant based diet for over 6 years due to health reasons. I have Crohns disease and was tired of all the side effects of the medication. I decided to take charge of my own health. I slowly started eliminating foods from diet and found that when I did not eat meat or dairy I didn’t have the pain and bloating associated with Crohns. So I started reading everything I could get my hands on and found Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. I attended the classes they offer and learned the science behind eating this way. I was so moved by what PCRM was doing to educate people that I started volunteering to help behind the scenes with the classes and have since become a Nutrition Instructor with them. I have turned my love of vegan cooking into my full time career as a Vegan Personal Chef.  It is such a joy to show people that being vegan and eating healthy is easy and yummy!!
